EXPO Park / Expo Plaza

The EXPO Park around the Expo Plaza is the legacy of the EXPO 2000 world's fair, the only world exposition ever held on German soil. On the former exhibition site south of the fairground, Hannover University of Applied Sciences, media and creative companies and start-ups have now settled. Surviving pavilions such as the Dutch Pavilion with its striking "stacked park" recall the innovative architecture of the EXPO and are popular photo motifs.
