The Red Thread through the old town
The self-guided city walk is free - just follow the red line. Past the Market Church, the Old Town Hall and through the half-timbered lanes of the old town.
Tip: The booklet costs little, but the route itself is entirely free to walk.

The Nanas and the riverbank
The colorful Nanas by Niki de Saint Phalle on the Leibnizufer are freely accessible - Hannover's cheeriest photo motif with no admission at all.

A picnic at the Maschpark
A bite from the bakery or market, plus a bench by the pond in the Maschpark - an inexpensive break with a view of the New Town Hall.

A lap of the Maschsee
A lap around the Maschsee costs nothing and offers plenty: water, meadows, sailing boats and the view back to the town hall. Lawns invite you to linger.
