Maschpark
The Maschpark was laid out between 1900 and 1902 as Hannover's first municipal park in the English landscape style. It lies directly in front of the New Town Hall, whose magnificent dome is reflected in the Mascht pond — a classic photo motif of the city. With mature trees, winding paths and lawns, the park connects the city centre with the Maschsee lake and the State Museum.
