Kröpcke
The Kröpcke is the central square in the heart of Hannover and has always been the city's most important meeting point. Named after the café tenant Wilhelm Kröpcke, the square is the hub of the city-centre shopping streets and the tram network. The striking Kröpcke clock, a faithful replica of the historic 1885 clock, is the classic rendezvous spot — "let's meet under the Kröpcke clock" is part of local parlance.
