Market Hall Hannover

The Market Hall Hannover on Karmarschstrasse, near the Marktkirche, is known as the 'belly of Hannover'. The first hall was built in 1892, almost completely destroyed in the Second World War and rebuilt from the 1950s on the initiative of local residents, reopening in 1954. Today it is a listed building that brings together fresh produce stalls, delicatessens and international food and gastronomy stands under one roof - a lively spot to eat and shop with a genuine market atmosphere in the city centre.

Free entry Mon–Wed 7am–8pm, Thu–Fri 7am–10pm, Sat 7am–4pm, closed Sun ShoppingHistory
