Day of Industrial Heritage: Hannover's industrial history up close
Over one weekend in June, historic factories, water towers and technical monuments open their doors to visitors.
The Day of Industrial Heritage in the Hannover region once again invites people to discover the city's industrial legacy in 2026. Participating sites - from former machine factories and water towers to historic pumping stations - offer guided tours, demonstrations and hands-on activities. Many of these places are otherwise closed to the public. A free shuttle service connects the main stations. The event is organized by the Region Hannover's Remembrance and Future network.
